TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Unless other wise agreed in writing these conditions of sale shall be deemed to be incorporated as conditions of any contract for sale entered into by Monitran Ltd (“The Company”).  The customers terms and conditions shall only be incorporated into the contract if: 

1. They are not inconsistent with the Company’s Conditions of Sales.
2. They have been accepted by the Company in writing.

All prices quoted are subject to alteration at any time without notice, in accordance with usual practice and whilst every endeavour has been made to ensure the accuracy of prices quoted, no responsibility is accepted for any error or omissions.

Prices charged will always be those ruling at the date of despatch.  Orders for scheduled delivery will be charged at the rate applicable to the quantity called off and not to overall quantity, unless other terms have been agreed in writing.

 Prices are not inclusive of VAT.  All prices to the current rate of VAT ruling at date of despatch.

 Single invoices are rendered; a charge will be made for additional copies.

 A nominal charge will be made against all orders to cover carriage and packing.

 Strictly Net monthly account, interest at 2.5% per month is chargeable on overdue accounts.

Ownership will pass to the purchaser only upon receipt by the seller of the full invoice price of goods.

 Customers wishing to open ledger accounts are asked to furnish two trade and bankers references.

 Quoted prices hold good for 60 days from the date of the quotation, unless stated otherwise.

We will use our best endeavours to meet delivery estimates but cannot accept any liability whatsoever for failure to do so.  Failure to meet a delivery date shall not prejudice any contracts as regards other deliveries.

 Both carriers and ourselves must be notified within three dates of receipt of goods, or in cases of non-delivery immediately invoice is received, otherwise no liability can be accepted.

1.  Orders can only be cancelled after prior negotiation and agreement.
2. On no account can cancellation be accepted for items ordered specially on customer’s behalf.

1. No returns can be accepted for credit unless previously agreed.
2. A charge of 20% in invoice value will be levied on goods “not wanted” or “incorrectly ordered”, or due to duplication resulting from “confirmation” order not being endorsed to that effect, with a minimum charge of £20.00.
3. All goods returned under this category must be received by the seller within 30 days of the original invoice date.
4. All costs of returning any goods shall be borne by the buyer.  Specially manufactured goods will not be accepted for credit.

All goods are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship, subject to following specific exclusions for a period of 12 months from date of purchase. In the event of failure within 12 months of original purchase, the Company will promptly repair or replace the defective components without charge.

This warranty is void if repair is attempted by unauthorised persons or agents, or if the product has been used for purposes for which it was not intended, and or subjected to abuse or wilful neglect.  No liability can be accepted for loss of items and or component parts, it is expected that the user takes sufficient precautions to safeguard all guaranteed items.

The company is continually updating its designs and reserves the right to change specifications. Without prior notice.
